Is Harris Poll Online A Scam ? My Review Will Answer That !

Hello everyone, today I’m writing this review to simply answer the question that many people tend to have “Is Harris Poll Online A Scam?”. The quick answer to this is no it’s not a scam but there are better ways to make online but lets talk about what harris poll online is.

What Is Harris Poll Online?

Harris poll online is a online survey website that compensates you through a reward system. it operates through various different subjects since it was founded which was 1963.  It’s free to join just one requirement, you must be at least 13 years old.

By completing surveys you accumulate reward points that will compensate you with a gift card amount . The max amount is a $10 gift card. They also require you to have a credit card so that you can cash out the balance but is a 13 year old suppose to have a credit card ? Its a bit on an inconvenience if you ask me but let’s continue.

Surveys are usually short so expect any duration from 5 minutes to half an hour.

Will You Make Money With Harris Poll Online ?

You will not get paid cash directly for your surveys as I mentioned earlier you will get paid in gift card for iTunes, amazon, and some others. You are also allow to trade in your points for magazine subscriptions.

Once your signing up process is complete you will be notified of polls where you participate in these surveys via email. You will not know how much points you are getting for the survey till you finish the survey. So actually earning money that’s a no, you are earning item value instead.

Is Harris Poll Online Trust Worthy ?

From my experience, I would have to say that yes they seem to be trust worthy specially with not providing your information to third parties but I will still precautions as you never know every person can be different . As far as comparing it to other survey website I will say yes you can trust it but that’s only because other survey websites are notorious for selling your information to third parties.

The Big Problem

The whole opportunity to make money off this is just a big blur to me let me explain. They only send out about 3 to 4 surveys on a monthly basis as you have to qualify for them.

So it takes about 1250 points for a gift card. Each survey you complete gives you any where from 75 to 150 points. Do the math times 4 we are talking anywhere from 300 to 600 points a month so at the very least it will take you two months to earn this gift card.

What makes it worst is that there’s a super low invite rate to these surveys and a equally completion rate of these surveys. Too many variables have to go right just so you can earn a gift card. In my opinion, you be better of going in the swagbucks direction.

My Verdict

At the end of the day there are other survey websites that are better than harris poll online but its not a scam. There are possibilities to making some earnings via gift cards but in my opinion its just way too much work and you sort of have to pray that things go your way.

I don’t know about you but I like controlling my fate when I’m trying to earn some income online. I said in the beginning that there are better ways of making money online so I will share with you the one I use specifically. I make money online through affiliate marketing which is just you owning an online business and get paid commission through products you recommend.

It’s really simple and way more effective than survey websites. It really isn’t fair comparing affiliate marketing to a website like harris online poll but if you wish to earn money online I suggest you a look at my number one ranked program.

  1. Hi Yunier, Again I have never heard of this company before, but then again I don’t like doing surveys for this reason; you spend too much time for pennies. You offer some valid points with your review is harris poll online scam, it sounds like you have done your research and they have been around for 13 years so I would have to agree with you that they aren’t a scam.

However I still choose affiliate marketing vs being paid for pennies. Thanks so much for all that you have done and informing us all about Harris poll, as your review will definitely help those looking for answers. Thanks again. Cheers.

    • Hey there jenifer, I agree with you definitely I like to think my time is very valuable which means I’m not about to spend hours doing surveys for nothing substantial. This might be okay for some people but not for me. I really haven’t found a survey website that would truly recommend for a legitimate way of making money online.

I do hope this review clears the air on the harris poll online.

  2. Hi Yunier,

Awesome review of Harris Poll. Sounds like a legit company which is refreshing when you see that many of the survey companies are sort of scammy.

In my experience working with survey companies the pay is lousy for the time you spend and many times you are risking your emails being spammed to death.

But I was checking out Harris Poll and I’m glad I ran into your review.

    • I agree with you Todd ! It is nice to come across a company that is actually legit but at the end of the day you ultimately have to ask yourself are you looking to earn cents or dollars? That you should give you the answer on what road you which to go down.

  3. Hi Yunier,
I agree with you, making money with survey sites is too much work for too little pay. With Harris Poll, although it seems to be a genuine site, getting paid in gift cards and only receiving 3 or 4 surveys per month, are for me 2 more negative points. This means the site has a very low earning potential.
I much prefer your suggestion of affiliate marketing, this might be a lot of work, but you have the potential of earning a good living. Much more than you could earn with Harris Poll or the other online survey sites.

    • Hey Peter,

I only see survey websites beneficial if it’s something that you actually enjoy doing it instead of your main objective to make money. If you want to make money with survey websites you will find a dead end pretty quickly and see there isn’t much possibilities there. I mean sure you’ll get a few bucks but what’s a few bucks if you putting in a lot of hours of your time ?
